For clients with critical network infrastructure, RJ2 Technologies offers automated
network monitoring. This service unobtrusively monitors the health of servers, network
components and desktop/laptop computers. Critical and performance related parameters
are monitored and stored and are available for viewing by the client as well as
RJ2 engineers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Alerts are sent via email to RJ2 and
the client (if desired) whenever a critical parameter begins to exceed a preset
limit. This allows us to circumvent outages by proactively addressing issues before
they become impactful to the business. A series of summary and detail reports are
generated on a preset schedule to further affirm the health of the subject network.
- Managed Firewall Services
RJ2 Technologies is a key partner with Check Point, a world class firewall solution
provider. This service provides a state of the art Safe@Office firewall at each
client location and is tied to a management console and database located within
the RJ2 Infrastructure. The management console aggregates intrusion data for each
managed firewall and provides reports and real time security updates to each device
under management eliminating the need for disruptive manual updates. Plus, there
is no upfront capital outlay for a firewall because the cost is included in the
monthly service.
- Network Services as a Managed
Service
Many of RJ2 Technologies' long-standing clients have moved to a managed service
model. Essentially this network management option provides full management and support
of a client's infrastructure for a single fixed monthly fee. This means that the
client pays one fee per month (the amount is dependent on the size and complexity
of the infrastructure being managed) regardless of the amount of time RJ2 engineers
spend managing the network.
