IT Support Specialist II

RJ2 Technologies - Schaumburg, IL 60173

The primary focus of the IT Support Specialist II position is to provide technical knowledge and support regarding network operations issues for multiple clients. You will perform numerous activities including, coordinating and maintaining customer’s computer hardware and network maintenance needs.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Working knowledge of help desk software, anti-virus, databases and remote control
  • Proven working experience in providing help desk support
  • Microsoft Server 2008 knowledge with Server 2012 a plus
  • Experience with Managed Service Provider, RMM & SRM Tools
  • Ability to diagnose & resolve hardware and/or software issues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Exchange, SQL, etc)
  • Daily interaction with variety of clients with all levels of expertise
  • Ability to articulate and document tickets, communications, and required reports in a clear and concise manner
  • Team player that adapts to varying work situations with a flexible in approach to resolving challenges.

Desired Credentials:

  • 2+ years related IT Professional Experience
  • Installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing networked computers
  • Associates Degree in Computer Science and/or experience with certifications
  • Certification in Microsoft and/or other industry applicable certifications

Required Experience:

  • Drivers Licence
  • 2 Years IT Experience
